My name is Harry Charalambous and I am the founder and CEO of Chabar Group Pty Ltd.  Chabar Group Pty Ltd has developed a unique and automated Technical Analysis platform designed to help traders and investors reduce the amount of time they need to spend studying and analysing the share market.

We’ve called the platform Trading Edge Dynamics because it uses dynamic formulas to give you a trading edge!

Our Vision

Trading Edge Dynamics® vision is to assist investors and traders at all levels to make better decisions about their investment selections. We aim to make our simplified and automated TA tools affordable and easily accessible to both long and short term investors, traders, SMSF managers and trustees. Our goal is to help users analyse trends and help them identify when trend direction changes so that they can make informed decisions to preserve and grow capital.

Background

Chabar Group was founded in 2001 and in 2007 made share market investment its primary activity. The Global Financial Crisis (GFC) less than a year later caused the company to lose half its capital in sound blue-chip investments. The loss prompted a complete rethink of its strategy and investment process. The initial reaction was to use a shorter term trading methodology which included charting and Technical Analysis (TA) in combination with Fundamental Analysis (FA). Although the process generated better results, it was very time consuming and prone to variation and interpretation.

The issues associated with the use of traditional TA prompted the development of the next stage and the attempt to automate the TA process. This very complex task took more than 9,000 man hours to complete. The results were amazing and far beyond our expectations, so we spent the next 2 years testing and perfecting the process to bring Trading Edge Dynamics® to market.
